Every November Volunteers of America Michigan partners with Classic Rock 94.9 WMMQ radio, Salvation Army, the Boys and Girls Club of Lansing, and the Capital Area United Way for the annual Coats for Kids Lansing Project.  Coats are collected at the Lansing Mall, Meridian Mall, Eastwood Towne Center, and Jackson Crossing.  The coats are later distributed to children and adults in need.
